The situation
A fourteen-day ride to Umling La is not an impulse purchase. The site had to carry enough detail to answer the questions that actually decide the booking — backup vehicles, mechanics, oxygen, altitude — while still selling the reason to go, to an audience that arrives from Instagram on a phone.

What we did
- 01Destination-led browsing across seven Himalayan regions rather than a flat list of packages.
- 02Itineraries carrying the logistics that decide a booking: support vehicles, mechanics and oxygen provision.
- 03Multi-currency pricing with a visible switcher, since a meaningful share of riders book from abroad.
- 04Accounts so a rider can return to a saved trip rather than restart the enquiry.
- 05Editorial and testimonial sections doing the persuasion work that photography alone cannot.
The outcome
Stories by Foot is live at storiesbyfoot.com with 2026 season expeditions across seven Himalayan regions, multi-currency pricing, accounts and an editorial section.
