About

Okadio is a senior engineering team spanning product, cloud and AI — deliberately small, deliberately accountable.

Principles

Six rules we don't bend for a deadline.

These are not values on a wall. Each one costs us something, which is how you know we mean it.

01

Written architecture

Every engagement starts with a document you keep — decisions, trade-offs, and an honest list of the things we chose not to do.

02

Senior only

No layered pyramid and no bait-and-switch. The people in the kickoff are the people in the pull requests.

03

Own the pager

We run what we build. Knowing you will be woken up by a decision changes how you make it months earlier.

04

Boring where it counts

Novelty at the product edge, proven technology in the load-bearing walls. Your database is not the place to be interesting.

05

Cost is a feature

Infrastructure spend is reviewed like any other requirement. We have never shipped a system we could not explain the bill for.

06

Leave it better

Documentation, runbooks and handover are part of delivery, not an invoice line you find later.

Trajectory

How we got to six practices.

  1. 2023

    Okadio founded.

Deliberately small

We stay at a size where every engineer can hold the whole estate in their head. Growth happens by raising the bar, not the headcount.

Remote, overlapping

Distributed across European and US time zones with a guaranteed overlap window, so handovers are conversations rather than tickets.

Long engagements

Most clients are still with us years later, usually on a managed run. That is the honest measure of whether the architecture held.

Trusted by

Teams that let us near the load-bearing walls.

From a global engineering group to research labs and early-stage products — the common thread is systems that were not allowed to fail quietly.

In their words

What it's like on the other side of the engagement.

They took over a system that had been stitched together for years and made it something our team could actually reason about. The handover documentation alone was worth the engagement.

V3Care
Small team, senior people, no layers to talk through. We described the problem once and got an architecture back that accounted for constraints we had not thought to mention.
Priyanshu
Pavion Technologies
They shipped every week and the demo environment was live from the first one, so we were never guessing about progress. Nothing was ever 90% done for a month.
Cheema
TooMuchMarketing
They pushed back on two things we asked for and were right about both. That is worth more to us than a team that just builds whatever is on the ticket.

Docly.fit
The AI work came with evaluations from day one, so we could see whether it was actually getting better instead of arguing about it. That changed how our team trusted the output.

Work with us

If this sounds like the team you want, say so.

Tell us the problem. We'll tell you honestly whether we're the right people for it.
